Presents their new album and starts their World Tour

“… Il Divo has stood out for its mixture of opera in songs of different genres, thus becoming an icon of the crossover groups of classical music. Since its debut in 2004, the group comprising the Spanish Carlos Marin, the Swiss tenor Urs Buhler, the Frenchman Sebastien Izambard and the American tenor David Miller, triumphed on the most important stages around the world and have sold millions of records as throughout his career.

Currently, Il Divo returns with a unique and unique material that brings together the songs of love and romance of all times.

For the past 15 years, at Il Divo we have taken songs from a wide variety of genres and made them unmistakably ours. Now we wanted to make a tournament through time and overcome all the differences between the styles of different areas, with Urs, when talking about the preparations of “Timeless”

“This album represents our tribute to the eternal nature of all music …”, declared David.

While Carlos said, “Timeless is for me one of the most special records we have done so far in our career with IL DIVO. We select songs from all periods that have been reproduced in movies and amazing romantic soundtracks from the 30 to songs of our days such as the mythical song “Smile” based on an instrumental theme used in the soundtrack of the 1936 film Charlie Chaplin ” .

Thus arises his new and awaited album “TIMELESS”, the seventh album of his career, for the first time under the executive production of Il Divo, directed and mixed by Alberto Quinteros in Los Angeles. In the month of May will go on sale, however the world launch will be on April 18 in Mexico and let us delight with the eternal anthems of romance, mostly famous and popular in different languages, which will bring us to the memories great unforgettable moments.

The tour of the album, “TIMELESS TOUR” will begin on April 20 in Mexico City and will end, after eight months of world tour, passing through Asia, South Africa, Australia and Latin America; in the United States with 40 shows giving a total of 120 annual where the public will enjoy the classics renewed in the masterful voices of Il Divo that will tour the most important scenarios .

Trzeci koncert w Polsce! ŁÓDŻ – atlas Arena – 28.09.2014

Kon­cert Il Divo od­bę­dzie się 28 wrze­śnia 2014 roku w hali Atlas Arena w Łodzi. Ze­spół bę­dzie pro­mo­wał w Pol­sce naj­now­szą płytę “A Mu­si­cal Af­fa­ir”, który w Pol­sce już po kilku dniach sprze­da­ży stał się be­st­sel­le­rem. Bi­le­ty (ceny od 159 do 390 zło­tych) tra­fią do sprze­da­ży 25 li­sto­pa­da, od go­dzi­ny 10:00.

Il Divo wra­ca­ją do Pol­ski po wiel­kim suk­ce­sie po­przed­nie­go kon­cer­tu, który odbył się w marcu tego roku w Ergo Are­nie. Wy­stęp ze­spo­łu zgro­ma­dził ponad 8 ty­się­cy wi­dzów. Po­ło­żo­na na po­gra­ni­czu Gdań­ska i So­po­tu hala była wy­peł­nio­na po brze­gi.

Naj­now­sza trasa kon­cer­to­wa, na któ­rej znaj­du­je się rów­nież Pol­ska, pro­mu­je szó­sty stu­dyj­ny album ze­spo­łu “A Mu­si­cal Af­fa­ir”. The Mulia Bali Hosts an ‘Appreciation Night’ Like No Other with Food, Fashion and International Singing Sensations ‘Il Divo’

On Saturday, May 25, 2012, The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas – Nusa Dua, Bali hosted a spectacular Black-Tie Gala Dinner featuring the international singing group Il Divo and the fashions by Indonesian designer Adrian Gan.

Hosted on an invitation only “appreciation party” for  friends and business associates of the Resort, the first such party hosted by The Mulia in Bali followed in the proud footsteps of its Sister-property, Hotel Mulia, Senayan, Jakarta, that has over the years established the standard for such affairs in he Nation’s capital.

Guests, all formally dressed with their precious invitations in hand, were welcomed with Champagne in The Mulia’s Conference Center’s expansive foyer area. A short while later, the Ballroom’s doors opened to reveal a venue lavishly decorated in white and resplendent in fresh flowers.

An haute couture fashion show by Indonesia’s very own Adrian Gan mesmerized those in attendance before they feasted on a five-course dinner.  Like the rest of the evening, no expense was spared as waiters served course-after-course that included ingredients such as ostera caviar, Alaskan King Crab, morels, Artisanal black truffles, Wagyu No 9 beef with foie gras and imported chocolate.

Live music during dinner was provided by a talented duo singing evergreens from the classical jazz songbook.

After dinner, four senior members of the Hotel’s staff  briefly took to the stage to welcome the guests. Then, brimming with bravado they performed a good-humored musical rendition of “Fly Me to the Moon” that would have done credit to the legendary “Rat Pack.”

But without doubt the highlight of the evening was the concert après dinner provided by the extraordinarily talented platinum pop vocal group – IL Divo. Singing their trademark blend of popular, romantic and operatic numbers that have charmed audiences worldwide for more than a decade, and backed by a small string orchestra, Il Divo sang creating musical memories of a lifetime for their privileged audience.

With more than 26 million albums sold, over 50 number one hits, and 150 gold and platinum awards the four dashing singers were concluding their latest whirlwind world tour with a stop in Bali.

Il Divo is breathing a collective sigh of relief. After not touring the U.S. for several years, the pop-classical vocal quartet wasn’t sure what kind of reception it would get from its American fans.
Happily for the group, the first few performances on its current North American tour showed fans haven’t forgotten, member Sebastien Izambard says.
“We’ve been out of the American public’s eye for quite some time,” says Izambard, who performs 9 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Revel in Atlantic City. “It’s scary that people might not like your music. It really worked well, and people seemed to really enjoy it.”
To help refresh the audiences’ memories –– and win over new ones –– Il Divo will focus on its best-known material, including “Regresa a mi” (“Unbreak My Heart”), “I Believe in You” and “Wicked Game.”
Besides Paris-born pop singer Izambard, the group consists of tenors David Miller, who is American, and Switzerland’s Urs Buhler and Spanish baritone Carlos Marin.
Formed in 2003 by Simon Cowell of “American Idol” fame, Il Divo has recorded six albums, selling 26 million copies. The foursome performed the theme for the 2006 FIFA World Cup and also has toured with Barbra Streisand.
Izambard talks about being the pop voice in the mix, the importance of the group’s look and whether he or his cohorts ever have any “divo” moments.
Q: You’re the only member of Il Divo that’s not classically trained. Have you studied voice on your own or worked with a coach to play catch-up?
A: I’ve been really lucky. I studied music by myself, and I’ve been lucky to learn from the guys as well. In the beginning, I was very skeptical, thinking this was never going to work. Sometimes things are magical, and they just happen.
Q: Il Divo has covered a wide range of pop and classical material. As a songwriter, do you have plans to compose for the group?
A: I have tried in the past to write songs for Il Divo. Somehow I feel spending a lot of time with the group doesn’t give me enough distance to bring something new. I love writing pop songs, that’s what I keep doing. It’s my passion. It’s good to have different (creative) hats. I find different arts can nourish you.
Q: The group is known for its on-stage fashion sense, and at one point was sponsored by Armani. Why is your look so important?
A: The clothes are an important element because that’s the way we want to represent the music –– jeans and a T-shirt doesn’t suit the type of music. The suit brings something, but it’s not the most important part –– it’s really who we are on stage that matters.
Q: As a songwriter first, how did you adjust to being in the spotlight?
A: For me, music was something that made me happy because I had a difficult childhood. Like most artists, we’ve been wounded. It was kind of a therapy for me, a way to express my feelings. I was very introverted, and it was a way to communicate.
When I started Il Divo, I didn’t think I would make it –– I just wanted to be a composer. I didn’t want to be in front of the spotlight, I wanted to be in the background. It just happened naturally. It really happened by itself –– I’ve been the luckiest man in the world.
Q: As a divo among divos, do any of you have your difficult moments?
A: We know what we want, saying we like this, we don’t like that. It makes us look a bit of a divo, but we know just what we need. We’re not one of those people who need our water to be a certain temperature –– there are none of those divo moments. We’re pretty normal, in fact.
